God is Good

A long day draws to a close. It was a really good day. The wind picked up and I could hear the thunder roll across the valley. It is the first thunder I have heard since I left Alabama. It wasn’t a heavy rain, but it was nice. The temperature dropped and I could see the mountain for the first time in over two weeks. A few clouds obstruct the view, but it isn’t bad. Maybe things will be back to normal. My prayers go out to friends and family recovering in the South. God is good and we are all blessed lives were spared. Say your prayers and be grateful. Goodness

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is dawning. It is still 45 minutes before dawn and the rooster is crowing. A slight breeze stirs the air and there is a 50% chance of some much needed rain. My capture today is from last year and the view of the dawn from my front porch. There is so much color in the morning light. God was showing us his glory that morning. We can see his love in the beauty that surrounds us. Even in the hardest of times, there is goodness to be found. The human spirit is strong and we all seem to come together in a crisis and share with each other. Watch the stories from the storm that emerge. Neighbors coming together and people flooding in to help. God is there beside you in your family, friends and the strangers who lend a helping hand. You will find what you seek.
