Open Field

A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I took a friend into town and she got her hair done. After that, we did a little thrift shopping and we both walked away with a prize for only a dollar. I captured this picture on the way home yesterday . There is something about a sunset across and open field that warms my spirit. The colors are due to smoke. The sun is completely blocked ny smoke today. Air quality is poor. Thank goodness for the mask we have to wear. As evening approaches, I watch the afternoon through the window. Perhaps tomorrow will be a little clearer. I am blessed to only have smoke when there are those who has lost their homes or businesses. I pray for our world and all the people in harms way. May God hold you in his loving embrace until the morning light. Say your prayers and be grateful. Rest Well and Sweet Dreams ❤

Grateful

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. Haze from the fires covers the land like Alabama fog. My Mama would say thick as pea soup. All is quiet except for a few cars passing. The birds are sheltered. The winds shifted last night and coming from the south. We are getting all the smoke from the wildfires. It you didn’t know better, it smells like a fireplace in the winter. We only have a limited time on this earth before going to our heavenly home. We all have and expiration date on this earth. Take no one or nothing for granted. Live each day without regrets. Give your love freely and unconditionally to your family and friends. Be grateful for your parents and grandparents. Don’t throw them away because they are reaching their time on earth. With God’s help and guidance, they made you who you are today. Lay your burdens in God’s loving hands and fill your heart with his love and joy. Spread that love with laughter, understanding and compassion. Share Your Heart ❤ and Shine Bright.
