Magic

A long day draws to a close. It was a good day, just long. As I headed up the mountain, rain turned to snow. It is too warm to stick, but it sure is pretty to watch. The sun sets through the snow clouds and make beautiful colors in the sky. I caught it at a point that made it look like a beautiful light on the Christmas tree. God places these little surprises for those who choose to see the magic in life. Life is good. Say your prayers and be grateful. Rest Well and Sweet Dreams ❤

God, family and home

Good Morning Everyone! It is a rainy 34 degrees this morning.  The wind howls through the trees as the earth is washed clean from the heavens. Have you ever noticed after a good rain that everything seems renewed and refreshed. The air is crisp and clean and the landscape draws new life from the earth. The sun comes out and spreads its warmth across the land. There is hope for a new day and new possibilities. The most important things in life are God, family and home. We are right where we should be to renew our connection with God and family. Take each day as it comes sharing faith, hope and love. Count the blessings that surround you and love with all your Heart.  There is a purpose for all lessons in life. Look up with your heart and shine God’s love to others. Share Your Heart ❤ and Shine Bright.

Little things

A long day draws to a close. It was a good day with rain off and on.  At one point, I looked out and thought I saw snow flurries.  I had to laugh when I went outside and realized it was crab apple blossoms flying through the air. They were so pretty lining the sidewalk that I had to share. Sometimes it is the little things that bring a smile to your face. Thank you, Lord, for the little things. Say your prayers and be grateful.  Rest Well and Sweet Dreams ❤.

Respect

Good Morning Everyone! It is a drizzly 41 day as I step outside to say my prayers and share with yall. The wind whistles threw the trees and I swear there is something that sounds like breathing. Perhaps it is the house still in slumber. Night gives way to day as I watch the rain. Nature has a rhythm of give and take. We need to take that example and be kinder to each other. Respecting each others health, safety and well being should be the natural order of our lives. God told us to love thy neighbor as  thyself. He knew this was vital for our world to survive in peace and harmony.  We can not control others. If we lead by example with love, kindness and respect, maybe we can change the face of our world. Just as a journey starts with a single step, a heart can change with a single kindness.  Share God’s Love. Share Your Heart ❤ and Shine Bright.

Lazy Sunday

A long day draws to a close. It was a lazy Sunday watching Hallmark, practicing my crocheting and walking around the yard. It sprinkled off and on during the day, but the sun continued to shine. As the sun lowers to the horizon, I thank God for another healthy day. We can all get though this together by being safe and considerate of each others health. Say your prayers and be grateful. Rest Well and Sweet Dreams ❤

Blessed

Good Morning Everyone! It is well past dawn as I take my perch on the porch. It is 41 degrees and a light rain quenches the thirsty earth. The familiar pitter patter of rain drops comforts the senses. As I look out into the yard, small flowers are giving color to the winter landscape. There is always comfort in watching nature, especially in Spring. The earth comes back to life with an abundance of color and fragrance. New life always brings  hope. The cycle of life moves on. Reach out to family and friends, check in on neighbors and remember that no man is an island. We need God by our side, friend and family to share this journey. If you woke up this morning,  you are blessed. Share your Heart ❤ and Shine Bright.

Breathe

A long day draws to a close. It was a quiet lazy day. I took a two hour nap and a stroll down the drive. This little beauty smiled up at me when I passed. I love nature. Now I watch the sky as the sun sets. There are geese honking in the distance and the chipmunks have given up their race for the day. We all start over tomorrow if God blesses us with another day. I will take each day he gives me and sing his praise. Don’t forget to take off your shoes and stand in the grass. Feel the excess electricity leave your body as you breathe in the fresh air. Say your prayers and be grateful.  Rest Well and Sweet Dreams ❤

Grounded

Good Morning Everyone! It is a damp 39 degrees. Clouds cover the mountain top and hide it from view. The birds go about their day and dance in and out of the feeder. Chipmunks race to the top of the feeder only to get stopped by the guard. They are funny little fellows as they prance around. Do you remember walking barefoot and how good it felt to feel the grass between your toes? Yesterday I got outside and felt the earth beneath me. God’s creation. I could feel the stress, worry and excess electricity leave me. I was grounded and a part of God’s amazing creation. Anchor yourself in the safe harbor of his love and feel the rhythm of life as he intended. We are one with earth and each other. Share Your Heart ❤ and Shine Bright.
