A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I got a lot of paperwork done. On the way home, I stopped at Pearl’s Place fruit stand. They were closed due to poor air quality. A lot of fruit stands and businesses are closed for the same reason. I captured this apple trees brimming with fruit. God’s creations never cease to amaze me. Hold your families close tonight and say a prayer for those in need and suffering. Say your prayers and be grateful. Rest Well and Sweet Dreams ❤
Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is dawning. There is finally a breeze blowing. Hopefully it will clear the smoke from the valley. The rooster is crowing his heart out at first light. My capture this morning is from my front porch one year ago today. A beautiful Baldwin County sunrise. As my friends and family struggle with clean up, heat and lack of services, my heart is there with them. Years of living with hurricanes never quite prepares you for the aftermath of a storm. Memories flood back and the only thing we can say is thank you Lord for lives spared. Our loved ones are more precious than any material objects. Recovery is slow, but the young ones now have their own hurricane story to tell their children. Hold your loved ones a little closer and be safe during this time. Share Your Heart ❤ and Shine Bright.
