No promises

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. Heavy rain last night was supposed to bring snow this morning, but there is none so far. My capture is from yesterday. Beautiful blue skies and sunshine graced the Upper Valley most of the day. Just as in life, things are constantly changing. Most of the time, we are prepared for the little changes that come with time. It is the sudden kick you in the gut changes that stop us in our tracks and make us take stock of our lives. Where has the time gone and is that my Mama in the mirror? My mind still feels young and vibrant, but the body shows the wear and tear of time. Live and love today. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway.  My coffee isn’t strong enough to shake the sleep fog from my head this morning. I am slow getting this ole body cranked up, but I am thankful to be alive and sharing. Aches and pains are just our bodies way of letting us know we lived a long hard life and we need to slow down a little. We all work through the pain and get on about our day. We were raised a tough bunch where slackers were not allowed. Everyone pitched in, even the little ones. Big sisters and brothers watched over us and kept us out of trouble. Thank you Lord for all the big brothers and sisters out there that helped make us into who we are today. They are just one of the many angels God has put in our lives. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. Early to bed and early to rise makes a woman awaiting the sunrise. It is 4 am as I have my coffee, say my prayers and watch the landscape. Christmas lights in the neighbors yard still dance in the remnants of snow. Little twinkling lights always make me smile. I spent yesterday afternoon with a friend talking about fabric, getting tips and learning more about quilting. It is wonderful to have friends who share a common interest and can teach me new things. A year ago yesterday, I buried my son. It felt good to be able to fill the day with new memories. I have to remember the beauty in life and know that I was blessed to have him in my life for even a short time. Memories warm the heart. Make new ones every day and love unconditionally. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. The world is up and running and the sounds of cars and tractors breaks the silence. The snow still hugs the orchard floor. Another month is drawing near and before we know it, the snow will be a memory to share. Life’s simple pleasures make the most beautiful memories. Sometimes I long for the days that I blew bubbles with my children and listened to their laughter drift across the fields. Hello God

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. It is bone cold and only my head was poked outside the door to hear and smell the new day. My coffee and cozy heated are my friends as I watch the landscape and spend my quiet time in prayer and thought. As yall know, sometimes the thoughts go around in circles and other times words just seem to flow. Days are like that too. There are those good days where all goes well and we get lots of work done and then there are the days that we are lucky to get off the couch. Age has its disadvantages, but we are still alive, kicking and working in God’s plan. Be the best you that you can be each day, no matter your circumstances. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. A light breeze blows in my face as I listen to the sounds of the morning. The rooster crows as if to say, “Get inside crazy woman. ” Snuggled in my blanket with a cup of coffee in my hand, I say my prayers and plan the day ahead. Routines help keep us on schedule and bring peace and sanity to a crazy world. We cling to the routines, even when they no longer serve a purpose in our lives. Sometimes we just do things a certain way because we always have. Try something new or do the same thing a different way. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. The rooster is crowing his heart out as the mist and fog cover the landscape. A new week begins and January will soon be history. Time marches on and it feels like the band has picked up the pace. Things happen that are beyond our control, so we have faith that it is according to God’s plan. The only thing I can control is my outlook on life. I can wake up each day that I am given with a positive outlook and a smile on my face or I can waller in self pity.
