Warm My Soul

A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I sewed on my quilt for a few hours. It is starting to come together. Talking to the kids brighted my thoughts and mood. The sun was shining and the sky was a beautiful shade of blue. I grabbed my blankets and sat out in the warm sunshine. I just needed to feel it upon my face. My capture is the view where I warmed my soul with the light of God’s creation. Step outside and feel His love wrap you in the embrace of His creation. Say your prayers and be grateful. Shine

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. Clouds rule the sky as I look to the heavens.  A light snow falls gently from the sky to rest on my nose. It made me smile.  Kisses from heaven.  As I gazed at the landscape,  the clouds part and the glorious full moon shines its silvery light down on the landscape and me. Sweet Memories

A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. A crock pot full of stew cooked all day and filled the house with an amazing aroma. I had brunch at a friend’s house and had the joy of watching their grandson play with his little toys and leggos. It brought back sweet memories of a time when my children and grandchildren were small and I was their world. They grow up fast. Hold them close. Say your prayers and be grateful. God’s Embrace

Good Morning Everyone!  A beautiful new day awaits the dawn.  My room is filled with the pitter patter sounds of rain on a tin roof. It is a soothing sound that makes me want to stay in bed a little longer. Remnants of snow cling to the landscape and refuse to leave. Worries and problems tend to cling to our thoughts and affect our lives. Worrying doesn’t change the outcome. Lay your burdens in God’s hands and breathe deep of the fresh air.  Watch the clouds or go for a walk in God’s beautiful creation. Turn on some music and sing like no one is listening.  Your Heart will lighten and your thoughts will clear. You can look at your problems with a fresh eye and just might find an answer. Warmth

A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. Rain, snow and sleet alternated during the morning as I sewed on my quilt and did a few chores. When the rain cleared, I walked out into the cold brisk wind. The sun peeked through the clouds and it felt warm upon my face. The warmth always makes me smile. Kindness

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day has dawned. I slept in today. Winds howled through the night and hurled pine cones and small branches at my roof. It quieted down about five and snow been falling in swirls to the ground. It is lovely and peaceful to watch. It looks like a day to stay inside. I have not seen my hummingbird friend today, but the feeder is empty and needs attention. Check in on your friends, family, sick or elderly. We all need a little help and comfort at one time or another. God put us all together for a reason. Be loving and kind to each other. Share Your Heart ❤and Shine Bright

Gratitude

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. A cold winds blows in my face as I search for the moon. I can see the glimmer on the snow, but the ancient trees hide the moon from my view. The sun will be up soon and the day will get in full swing. There are places to go and people to see. Children awaken and need to be fed and off to school. Take a moment before the world grabs you up and thank God for a new day, your family, children, a roof over your head and food to eat. Sunshine

A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. There were no rainbows today, because there wasn’t a cloud in the bright blue skies. Everyone was happy for the sunny day and spread good cheer. Simple Act Kindness

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn.  It is clear this morning and I can see the white peak of the mountain in the pre-dawn light. It is a beautiful sight to see. A fresh dusting of snow fell during the night and blankets the landscape. We pass people on our journey each day. We each carry  burdens from the past and present throughout our lives. Be kind, compassionate and understanding.  Look past your own life and you will see the pain etched in the eyes and faces of those close to you.  Smiling faces hide great pain.  Your kindness may soothe a broken heart or spirit.  God knows our thoughts, every breath we take and every beat of our heart.  A simple act of kindness and respect could change a life.
