Families

A good day draws to a close. I worked half a day at the office and then came home and took a nap. The portable air conditioner and fan are keeping it cool at night. Sure am glad I listened to my sons advice. My capture is the mountain this evening. Smoke from distant fires has made the sky hazy, but has helped keep the temperature down. It is silent and eerily still as I sit outside. A new Hallmark movie starts soon. Hold your families close. Life is always a lot sweeter when they are near. Say your prayers and be grateful. Happy Birthday

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. The birds are singing and my head is filled with memories and my heart with love. My Daddy would say “Rise and Shine Sunshine” every morning as he turned on WHEP radio. I can still hear his voice and see his eyes light up as he smiled. Today, I celebrate his birthday in heaven. I can still feel his hugs and the kiss he would place on my forehead. Memories fill our hearts when they are made and carry us through a lifetime. Make precious memories for those you love to hold in their hearts. Happy Birthday Daddy. I miss you and love you. I know you and Travis are having a grand time. One day we will meet again. Extra Prayers

A good day draws to a close. A little work, a little shopping and getting my hair cut consumed my day. Tourist walked the street even in the heat and seemed to be enjoying themselves. My capture is from here on the property. It is a wedding venue, so little touches of beauty line the yard. An extra prayer goes out to my family and friend down South. He Paints the Sky

Good Morning Everyone! God has chosen to awaken me to a new day. The sun was peaking the horizon in a dazzling display of color and light as God painted the sky just for me. Everyone can see a sunrise or sunset. We all have our own point of view and experiences that color our prospective on life. From my point of view, I see beauty, wonder, magic and God’s unconditional love. Little miracles happen each day. We have to count our blessings and be grateful for all the good in our lives. Smiles

The day is winding down and supper is on the stove. It was a good day. I went into the office, moved files and organized. Tomorrow I will catch up on paperwork. I know it is vacation time, but I feel better knowing that everything is done and ready for when I get back. I captured this little beauty outside the grocery store. Family

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. The sky is once again clear as the sun makes its way over the horizon. My capture is taken along my friends driveway on the irrigation canal. A Mama Duck watches as her babies swim along and play. God gave us all Mother’s and Father’s to watch over us and guide us down the path of life. Life happens and sometimes it is a stepmother, stepfather, Foster family , Aunt or Grandmother that ends up getting us through the early years. God has provided us with Angels in all shapes and forms. Family is not always by blood. Family is the people God has put in your life to share Your journey and love you unconditionally. Glory

A good day is winding down. I worked half a day and then got a pedicure and a manicure. Vacation has started and I am ready for the time off. My capture is from last night as the glory of the heavens was displayed in the sky. I could almost hear the angels singing. Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to people of good will. Angels

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. A light breeze blows as I step outside to greet the morning. Movement on the porch caught my eye. It was only a leaf caught by the breeze, but it reminded me of something missing up here. I have not seen frogs. At the farm, tree frogs were on the porch and they watched me as I came and went. They all knew not to be falling off on me unless they wanted to hear some screaming. The bull frogs would come up to visit. I don’t like frogs or anything that jumps on me. My capture today is from my trip home yesterday. There were beautiful wispy clouds all across the sky. I had to stop and capture them for you. There are a lot of cloudless days here in the summer. I like to believe angels watch over us from the clouds as they float by. Next time you are cloud watching, give them a little wave and say Thank you, Lord, for all the angels in my life. Prayers

It has been a good day and very long. I am still at work, but wanted tell ya’ll good night. My capture is from this morning at a friend’s house. The lavender was fragrant and called my name. Of course, it is purple so it had already caught my eye. When you say your prayers tonight, remember those sick and hurting from loss. God hears our prayers. Say your prayers and be grateful. God’s Child

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. Clouds hover near the mountain and add a touch of color to the new day. Workers chat in the distance as they go about their routines. It is usually quiet this time of day, except for the rooster.  Workers take advantage of the cooler time of day to get their work done. The heat of the day is no place to be this time of year. We all have to take care of our own health. God gave us these amazing bodies and minds to survive our journey.  No matter how busy your day,week or year, you must take the time to give yourself some tender loving care.
