Tonight I watch the cloudy sky’s on my back porch. A glass of wine and my feet up. The wind is blowing the storm in for tonight. In the distance is the sound of the cotton pickers harvesting my beautiful cotton. I will miss it, but I was able to share beautiful pictures with my friends. Good Morning Everyone! The cloud are heavy on the horizon today. You can see depth and texture in the clouds. Even though there is rain in the forecast , I see the sunlight bursting through. It is a fabulous day. Nothing can dampen my spirits today. My grandsons are coming to set up my Christmas Tree this weekend. I look forward to their visits. It may not be here tomorrow, but for today it is greeting by another beautiful sunrise filled with pinks and purple hues of splendor. Even though it is weakened by age and shows its snowy tops, it stands straight and tall to face the new day. We are each “weathered” by time and trials in our lives. Life has a way of slipping up on us. Stand tall and be the roots that anchor your families. Always be the example by showing strength, love, kindness and compassion for your own families as well as to others. I walk the road in front of my house in the predawn hours looking for the perfect moment in time to capture for y’all. The air is cold in my lungs and I hear the rooster crowing in the distance. My first cup of coffee awaits my return. There is peace and quiet in the stillness of the dawn. As the sun rises on a new day, breathe in the peace and take stock of all your blessings. Today is what you make of it. Place sunshine, laughter and love in your cup and it will overflow with joy. Always search for the good in people so that they may realize the good within themselves. It is a beautiful cold day. I was greeted by God’s Hello this morning. I believe that the beauty of the sunrise is God’s way of saying “Good Morning” and the sunset is His “Sweet Dreams” to each of us. I am grateful for the new day filled with opportunities and endless possibilities. We are given a new day. What we do between the sunrise and sunset defines our lives. I choose to dance with life and bring joy to those that surround me.
If your day is off to a rocky start, look for that inspiration that brightens your inner light. The fires of our soul have to be tended just as a fireplace. Every night I would tuck my children in and kiss them on the forehead. As I left the room, I would say “Sweet Dreams Angel”. My children are grown and have little ones of their own. I have made a point to share a photograph or inspiration at night. A quick reminder to say our prayers and wish everyone Sweet Dreams.
Since the time has changed, I am not afforded the luxury of being where I can see the sunset. As I looked out the front door at work, the Eastern Sky was aglow with color. It is not the first time that I have run out into the parking lot to capture the beauty of the evening sky. Once again, that crazy lady in me looking for sunset, ran out the front door, patients and all. A quick point and snap captured this beautiful moment in time to share with you. It is Monday morning and I am thankful to be alive and well. Many I know did not make it through the holiday weekend. We are blessed with one life. Good Morning Everyone! Nature called at exactly the right moment for me to capture the sunrise. I took so many pictures, but I think that this is my favorite. The cotton field is shining bright today. I grabbed a cup of coffee and headed for my favorite spot on the back porch. The moon was setting in the Eastern sky. Two beauties in the sky at the same time. One gives way to the other and the world goes round. We are all different and unique. We have different beliefs and points of view on life.
