Be Positive

Good Morning Everyone! I slept in this morning. I woke up at one am and had trouble getting back to sleep. It is 39 degrees this morning and snow showers are predicted.They tricked me last week and I stayed inside. Not today. Today is a new day full of possibilities and wonder. New friends are waiting to be met and hearts are waiting to share. Today I must search for the heart that needs comfort. The soul that needs a welcoming smile or a gentle touch. Treasure each moment

A long day draws to a close. I worked most of the day and then did a little grocery shopping. It is too late for an adventure. The sun is setting and home is beckoning me to get settled in. Mama always said nothing good happened after dark. I pulled off to capture the sun as it was setting behind the mountain. I love this little barn out front. It is fenced off, but I would love to venture inside. Gather together as one and share your thoughts and smiles. Life is short. Treasure each moment in time. Say your prayers and be grateful. Let it Shine

Good Morning Everyone! It is a cool 40 degrees this morning as I step outside with my coffee and blankets. Clouds are keeping the sun from shining through. It is quiet except for the wind blowing through the trees. Sometimes I can hear the coyotes early in the morning. Today it is quiet as I sit with my thoughts. My body wants to stay right here in this chair, but there is a job to do. There are people who need my smile and words of encouragement. God’s light needs to shine each and every day no matter the circumstances. His message of hope and love burns bright within us. Go out and let it shine. Bring hope and light to those in need. Peace and Harmony

Good Morning Everyone! It is 38 degrees and going up to 60 today. What a beautiful day to be alive. I breathe deep of the cold air and feel my lungs smile at me. You’ve got this! Each day my strength grows a little. As I pulled in the driveway last night, I thought I saw a stump in the pasture. I stopped and took a closer look in the fading light. Looking back at me was this beautiful deer. We looked at each other for a while before I drove off. He was not afraid. For a short moment in time, I was one with nature and at peace. We should all be able to coexist in peace and harmony. God put us all here together. We should look out for each other using kindness, respect and compassion. Light of his love

Good Morning Everyone! It is a cold 29 degrees this morning as I snuggle under my blankets. The wind is silent under a cloudless sky. The mountain stands tall and brave in the distance.  A silent sentinel of the landscape  ever watching and waiting.  It looks like a beautiful sunny day begins under the watchful eye of the mountain. God watches over us in much the same way. He is strong, silent and waiting for us to turn to him. Make prayer and gratitude a part of your daily routine. When you have a personal relationship with him, you are never alone. Turn to him for strength,  guidance and reassurance. Lighten Your Heart

Good Morning Everyone! It is a cold 36 degrees as the wind goes howling through the trees this morning. Clouds cover the mountain eventhough rain and snow are not predicted. Remnants of snow and ice cling to the landscape trying to hold on for a little while longer. Sometimes we do the same. We cling to the past or hold on to something that no longer adds value to our lives. Carrying the extra burden weighs heavy on our hearts and minds. Remember and learn from the past so you dont repeat the same mistakes. Move forward in life following God’s path and let the light of his love Shine Bright from your Heart. Good Morning Everyone! Once again I am blessed to be awakened to watch the dawning of a new day. The air is cold and a slight breeze makes me smile. With coffee in hand, I think of the new day and what is to come as I watch the ever-changing sky. We all have our routines as we go through the day. Life is something that is easily taken for granted. I will do that tomorrow or we can go see Mom and Dad next month. We do not know the hour or minute of our last breath or that of those whom we love. We have now, this minute to say the words, to heal a heart or give the extra hug. Take no one or nothing for granted. Love with all your heart and let others know they are loved. Angels

Good Morning Everyone! I slept past the dawn this morning. It is a chilly 34 degrees here and the wind is howling through the trees. I am tucked away in the shelter of the porch with my coffee and blankets. I can only stay outside so long before it gets too darn cold. I have great respect for those people who can work in the cold or hot temperatures. We each have a part to play in God’s master plan. Each person plays an equally important part. Your words and actions could change the course of someone else’s life and you will never know. God places people and circumstances in our lives to help us on our journey. Look around at the gifts of love that he has given you. Cherish the people in you life and make sure they know that they are loved. Never forget that you are someone else’s cherished angel. Life is Good

A long day draws to a close. It was a beautiful, clear and sunny day. I worked until one and walked to the movie theater to see “Call Of The Wild” It was a great movie and Harrison Ford never disappoints. As I drove back up the mountain, I was able to capture the glory of the setting sun. The sky filled with color as I watch the sun disappear behind the mountain. Life is good. Good Morning Everyone! It is 30 degrees, but warming to the 50’s today. There is a slight breeze and the sky is clear as the stars fade from sight. A new day is dawning. A new day filled with possibilities and promise. Your day is what you decide to make happen. You can sit inside and watch tv or go outside and see the beauty that lies before you. A short walk can lift the spirit as you breathe in the fresh air and watch the birds in flight. Clouds make great friends as they parade across the sky. It doesn’t matter what you choose to do.
