Windows to the soul

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. As I sit in the darkness with my coffee, I think of the ever changing beauty of the landscape. I captured this moment in time as I drove home last night. Standing watch over the valley, it made me think of my Daddy. He taught me to look someone in the eyes while greeting and talking. The eyes are the windows to the soul. You can see pain, sadness, joy and love. The person knows you care and can see the lights in your eyes. My favorite part is when you can see a glimmer of light come into sad eyes, even if for a brief moment. Your light is contagious. Spread it around. Share your Heart ❤ and Shine Bright.

Listen with your heart

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. God has blessed me to awaken to a new day. My work is not done. There are smiles to share, hugs to give and people who need kindness and a listening ear. We can all talk or give advice, but sometimes the best thing you can do is listen. If you listen to someone with your heart and mind, you can feel their soul, their pain or joy. God gave us all these wonderful senses to help us on our journey. Beauty In Nature

Good Morning Everyone! A new day awaits the dawn. A light misty rain falls on my face as I search the dark sky. The weather man says snow, but it feels like rain to me. My capture is from yesterday after our adventure. As we turned into the driveway, I spotted a herd of elk across the field. I had never seen elk and it was a bunch of them. We eased the truck up the driveway to get close for a picture before they took off running. It brought joy to my heart to see these magnificent creatures that God created. God’s Glory

A long day draws to a close. It was a very busy day. Clouds moved in this afternoon and covered the mountain. Sunset over the orchard was still beautiful. Rain or shine, God’s glory cannot be hidden. Family

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. The rooster next door says it is going to be a good day and everyone should rise and shine. I think someone is serving him espresso. I’ll have a cup, please. I am a slow riser, but more a morning person. After four pm, my body says go home. The world needs all kinds of us to keep it going. Night owls or morning people are all God’s people that must work together for the greater good. If we could just see each other as family and accept each other’s differences, no one would feel left out. Family sticks up for each other and lifts up the sad or hurt sibling. Sometimes families disagree, but they always accept each other just as they are. We are all God’s children and we are loved. Share your Heart ❤and Shine Bright.

Memories

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn.  Stars twinkle down on me as I look to the heavens for guidance. I was reminded early today to wear green or run the risk of getting pinched. In my school years, we made shamrocks out of crepe paper to pin on our clothes. It seems that I always got pinched anyway. Old traditions bring back memories and laughter of another place and time. Good or bad, we can’t change the past. Make sure your words and actions are making beautiful memories for tomorrow. On Day at a Time

A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. Blue skies and sunshine prevailed again today. The sun was setting behind the hills as I headed home. Yellow and orange heralded the glory of the heavens. Thank you Lord for another day. I am healing one day at a time. Give me your strength to walk in faith and lay my burdens at your feet. Faith and Prayer

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. It is darn cold this morning and a few stars twinkle down at me. The security lights, that line the owners driveway, flash on as his cats move through the yard on their morning walk. I just realized that the rooster isn’t crowing yet. He must be cold like me today. We all go through the same seasons and situations in life. We are unique creations of God, but we are all passing through life in faith and prayer. You are not alone. There are others suffering from loss, illness, emotional problems, depression and a host of others. Take the time to listen and get to know each other. Soon you will see that the burdens you carry aren’t as bad as others. Lay your burdens in God’s hands and seek peace and comfort in His words. Share Your Heart ❤and Shine Bright.

Smiles

A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. Sunshine and blue skies make people smile. On my walk to the coffee shore this morning,  I was surprised by these beautiful flowers that the owner had planted in flower pots. The happy faces smiled back at me as I took their picture.  I must have been talking to them , because the lady passing by was smiling at me. Laughter

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. It is still cold and a strong breeze is blowing as I step outside. The rooster breaks the silence with his constant crowing. His internal clock has been off for a while. As daylight approaches, it looks like the mountain is trying on new hats or sporting a new hairdo. It brought a smile to my face. Thank you, Lord, for the little things to lighten my heart. God puts people in our lives, in the form of children, grandchildren, friends and sometimes strangers , who help us see the lighter more beautiful side of life. Sharing the gift of humor and laughter can change the face of people you meet and those beside you. Just knowing that someone cares makes all the difference in the world.
