Magic

My day draws to a close. It was a good day and pretty busy. Doc brought in another beautiful bouquet of gladiolus from his garden. I do believe that I am spoiled. The flowers bring joyful smiles from all the patients. I think they gave everyone a little bit of God’s love to brighten their day. May God hold you in his loving embrace until the morning light. God’s Plan

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is dawning. God woke me up, so He isn’t done with me yet. Another precious gift of life to be unwrapped a heartbeat at a time. Sometimes it is hard to get going and motivated to even move from your chair. Those are the days you must remember that God has a plan and a job that only you can fill. You have been chosen by our Lord and Savior to be the best you that He created. Your kindness, love,compassion and smile are needed today by someone who needs encouragement or who is broken in spirit. Use this precious gift to the best of your abilities. Sunrise

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. It is just now first light and the rooster is doing his job. My thoughts and prayers are with those dealing with the aftermath of the storm. When you grow up on the Coast, you know the odds of those storms coming in to your area. Even though you try, you are never truly prepared for the fury of the storm. My capture is a sunrise from beautiful Baldwin County a couple of years ago. God’s love painted in the sky. Purpose

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. It is calm outside as I watch the birds dance in and out of the trees. The rooster is silent for now. It makes me wonder if he is okay. It is funny that even when something or someone is annoying, you miss their presence. Everyone serves a purpose in our lives. Some are sent to guide us on our path, some to join us and others we are to show the way. That new friend may be a blessing to you, but you are also a blessing to them. Giving

My day draws to a close. It was a good day. I stayed inside most of the day resting and working with my quilt. I have collected fabric to make comfort quilts. Our Quilters Guild donates quilts to the women’s shelter here in town. Giving to others in their time of need is something we all should consider. We all need each other. Prayer

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. It is 48 degrees with clear blue skies. I have been watching the weather and praying for the safety of family and friends down South. I truly hate hurricane season. I know everyone is prepared, but sometimes those darn things sneak up and change their mind. We always worry about our family, even when there is nothing we can do. We have to have faith in God’s plan and pray for their health and safety each and every day. Life is short. Make the most of each day and be safe. Someone loves you and is praying for you. God’s Love

Beautiful Sight

My day is drawing to a close. I have been a little under the weather with seasonal allergies, so my bones are dragging. I am looking forward to a long weekend of rest and rejuvenation. My capture is a field on the way home. The sun was going down and the sprinklers were shooting high into the sky. It was a beautiful sight for this country girl. Best You

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. It is an hour before dawn and that fool rooster will not stop crowing. I am not sure if he is protecting the roost or has just lost his mind. I am betting on the latter. Everything is still and quiet, except the rooster. There is peace in the early morning hours when sleep eludes me. Even in the darkness. I can see white clouds over the mountain. It is in the quietness of the dawn that I feel God’s presence as I talk and pray. Lord, guide me on my path to do your will. Help me to be loving and kind, even to the rooster.
