Dwell in His Light

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is dawning. The moon is still up and there are sweeping gray clouds across the sky. The early morning light gives my capture a surreal appearance. Things are not always as they seem. It is when you get to know people that you can see deeper into their soul. We always want to think the best of others, but not everyone has your best interest at heart. As I have gotten older, I have learned to let go of those who are filled with drama and chaos. I am drawn more to a world of peace and harmony. Life is precious and there is no time for hate, anger or petty ways. Open your heart to God’s light and dwell within the peace of His love. God’s Glory

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day has dawned.  Cotton candy shades of pink and blue herald in the new day to the trumpeting of the rooster. I watched as the mountain changed from white to pink and then a golden glow as the sun rose over the hills.  The beauty of God’s creation is spread before us each day. Treasures of Life

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway.  The birds are singing and a light breeze blows the cold air into my face. It is much like every other new day, yet we are all different.  The experiences of each day changes us as we experience loss, sorrow, joy and laughter. We learn and grow each day. As we walk our journey in life, we learn that the important things are not money or material objects. These things bring comforts and afford luxuries. The treasures in this life are our families and friends who stand beside us. They may not be with us each day, but they are with us in heart and spirit. Display of Color

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day has dawned. We got a little rain last night. The back porch is wet and the front porch is dry. My capture is from the tulip farm yesterday. As I made the drive down to Woodburn, the trees lining the road were ranging from evergreens to chartreuse in color. Rows of plants in bloom lined the country roads. As I approached the tulip farm, I could see a rainbow of color lining the fields. It was a sight to behold. God’s beautiful creation all lined up in a display of color. Seize the Day

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day has dawned. My hummingbird sits on the feeder and sips his morning nectar, as I drink mine. I wonder if he is people watching. The pear trees out back are in full bloom and the sky is alive with pinks and orange in advance of the sunrise. Yes, a beautiful day indeed. I am ready to face the new day with whatever new surprises or challenges await. I may not be as young and I move a little slower, but my mind is good and my spirit is willing to take on new adventures. Each day of life is an adventure in discovery and love. God’s Light

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day has dawned. The mountain stares back at me from a cloudless blue sky. Somewhere in the distance a security alarm blares into the night. I hope everyone is okay. My capture is from my walk yesterday. These little beauties were smiling up at me as if to say pick me. I love flowers. They are blessings and a beautiful reminders of God love. They seem to shine His light of love. We are all blessings to someone. Shine Your Light

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day has dawned. The mountain stands tall and proud under a cloudless blue sky. I filled up the feeders last night and had a golden finch come to visit. He was a beauty. My capture is from my drive home yesterday. This beautiful tree filled with pink blossoms shines out next to the giant willows. It made me remember that you don’t have to be famous, rich or popular to stand out in a crowd. We were created by God and His light resides in each of our hearts, no matter what we choose to believe. It is what we do with God’s light and His love that makes a difference. True beauty is a kind and loving heart. Never believe that you haven’t made a difference in our world. Sharing

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. The temperature dropped and the fans are roaring in the orchard. One of them is giving off this high pitch squeal. The birds are singing , but hidden beyond my view. They pigged out and ate all the food in both feeders. I guess it is survival of the fittest out there. We were taught to make sure that everyone got enough to eat before we got extra or seconds. Mama always served herself last and watched what we got. You had better eat everything on your plate, because there were children starving in our world. My capture was taken on the way home last night. They line the road where I live. Not only are they beautiful, but there fragrance filled my senses and make me smile. There was a memory there that I couldn’t quite grasp. Thank you, Lord, for another day to share and shine. Kindness

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. Birds are singing in the trees and flying in and out of the feeder. They are funny little fellows. There is only room for two at a time, so the ones on the feeder throw seeds to the ones on the ground. It reminds me of a Mardi Gras parade where everyone scrambles to collect beads and candy thrown from the floats. It is a win win for everyone. We all have to look out for each other and lend a helping hand when we can. Sometimes it is a kind word or an encouraging smile. Every kindness shown is a blessing. Gift of Friendship

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. I finally slept until daylight. A trip to get my car serviced is in order today. I am sure that I will take the scenic route and capture some more of God’s beautiful creation to share with yall. I heard there was a sighting of California poppies in the area. Flowers are little gifts from God that bring a smile and fill us with hope. One of my favorite gifts from God is the gift of friends that he sends to lighten our loads and share our burdens.
