Warmth

A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I stayed inside out of the smoke. The smell is better this afternoon,  but the haze still clings to the mountain and valley.  A roast with potatoes and carrots is cooking in the crock pot. It sure smells good. All is quiet as I look out into the yard, like a bird in a cage. I do love to be outdoors and feel the wind in my face. Tomorrow is another day and God willing,  we will share the sunrise.   Hold your families close and feel the warmth of their love. Share Your Heart ❤ and Shine Bright.  

Faith

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. It is 49 degrees with a slight breeze. The birds are still sheltered and the rooster is silent. Haze covers the mountain. The silence is strange. If you have been around a while, you feel when a storm is coming by the silence of the animals. The faithful hummingbirds still sweep in for food. The winds should shift Monday and clear the skies of smoke. This little tree stands tall and proud among the towering ancient spruce. During good times and bad, life finds a way to renew. We have to keep our souls rooted in God’s love and promise. The world changes and grows around us. There are always going to be wars and evil people in life. Surround yourself with God’s goodness and his people. Share his love and light to brighten your days and warm your nights.
