A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I cooked and prepared meals for the week. Of course, I ate a lot of the peppers and carrots as I chopped them. It is one of the advantages of being the chief. Today was one of those days that I could see the time passing in my life. The kids are grown and their children are grown. There never seems to be enough time. I hold them close in my heart and pray they all know they are loved. Tell people you love them now. There are no promises of another day.
