A long day comes to an end. It started with cleaning up in the yard. You should have seen two women with a chain saw. I pulled the trees down to the burn pile using a chain and my lawn mower. The day ended with my granddaughter coming to spend the night. It is a special treat because she lives in Virginia. We have talked and laughed for hours. Life is so precious and they grow up fast. Hold them close as long as you can. Say your prayers and be grateful. Rest Well and Sweet Dreams. ❤

Clouds layer the sky this morning. There is a cool breeze and the katydids are still singing their song of the night. Lightning flashes in the southern sky putting on a beautiful display that I just can’t seem to capture on camera so I sit back and enjoy the show. It is still dark because of the clouds, but the birds have started their joyful songs of dawn. The forces of nature never cease to amaze me. There is such power and anger in a storm, yet the sun comes back and the world starts again. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
