A long wet day comes to a close. Bands of rain passed through the area off and on. Our neighbors to the west got the worst of the rain from the storm. My day was filled with housework and Hallmark movies. This capture was from last night. The sky cleared for an awesome display of color. Gather together in love and friendship. The cloud covered skys leave only a sliver of light on the horizon. It has been raining so there is a steady pitter patter of droplets falling from the roof. The katydids are singing and a few birds are calling out. The air is cool and easy to breathe. The frogs are chiming in as the chorus of nature fills the predawn air. Even in inclement weather, there is a joyful noise unto the Lord. Sing out in praise and worship in good times and in bad. He walks beside you. Lay your worries at his feet.
