The sun sets across a rain soaked field tonight. I needed the beauty of the sunset to bring peace to my tired bones and spirit. I tried hard today to stay positive and make the most of my day. Sometimes the world beats you down no matter how hard you try. Reach out in prayer for strength and guidance. God places us where we are supposed to be. Once again the katydids compete with the birds for the attention. it is humid this morning. That is one of the joys of living in the South. The positive note is that I can put my potted plants along the roofline and everyone gets watered each day. We have to look for the positive side of every situation. My sister always says, “Made Lemonade Out of the Lemons.” I have grown to understand that saying. Ever situation is not perfect. Sometimes we have to take what we have been given of the day and make something beautiful. I was blessed to be awakened today.
