A long day draws to a close. it was a good day. It rained most of the day as I ran my errands. Night is falling and soup is in the crock pot. I stopped to capture this beautiful field. The red color againt the gray skies lifted my spirits. The weather is a lot different up here, but I am enjoying the beauty of the landscape. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. I slept in to the sound of rain falling on my tin roof. Rain and snow predicted all weekend. I will have plenty of time to sew. I have been praying for God to send a little cold weather down South to put an end to the parade of hurricanes. The pitter patter sound brings back fond memories of visiting my Aunt Marie. It is always special when sounds and smells bring back holiday memories to warm our hearts. It is the little things they will remember. Spread a little laughter and sunshine to those you meet.
