Yesterday when I was getting my nails done, they were playing worship music over the sound system. It was nice to hear and to see people enjoying. My day draws to a close. It was a beautiful day. I stopped at Pearl’s Place Fruit stand and got pears and apples. Chores, laundry and sewing finished out my day. My capture is a straw flower from my friend’s garden. You can see God’s hand in the brilliant colors and attention to detail. His love for us is everlasting. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. A truck loaded with crates of pears struggles down the road and breaks the peace of the morning. They are finishing up the picking behind the house. Farmers are hard working people. I will stop at one of the many fruit stands today and enjoy the delicious bounty of the harvest. I never realized there were so many different varieties of pears, apples and cherries. God’s artistry never ceases to amaze me. Another beautiful day draws to a close. It was a good day and even better because I start my weekend. This memory popped up today. Daddy and I are watching my sister, Elaine, make clover leaf yeast rolls. It was probably for 4H. It made me smile. I think I was ready for the rolls. Elaine is a great cook, even way back then. Hood shines in the pre-dawn light as I watch the darkness fade to light. Shadows move across the landscape and disappear with the rising sun. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. A big bright moon shines its silvery rays across the landscape as it heads to the horizon. Soon, the sun will be rising up to warm the earth and start a new day. My capture is from yesterday morning as I went up my friends driveway. It reminded me that sometimes our path is cast in darkness and shadows from illness, loss,stress or just life in general. We have to remember that God is beside us on this journey and the light is just around the bend. We are never alone . He shares our worries and our triumphs.
