Eyes

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is dawning. It is still an hour before dawn. The stars twinkle back at me from clear skies. It is 28 degrees and a high of 49 again today. Tomorrow it will warm up. I am getting to wear the pretty sweater from home that only got used for a couple of days. There is always a positive in ever situation. We only have to look past the negative to see something good. My capture today is Mount Adams wearing a new coat of snow. It is on the Washington side, but can be seen from my back yard and on the way to work. Life is filled with beauty and wonder. Remember as a child how everything was new and filled with surprise? A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I drove into town and got more material for my quilt. These trees captured my attention as I drove past. I thought yall might enjoy them too. I spent the day sewing and watching Hallmark. There are two new ones on tonight. I am curled up on the couch watching the sun go down. God’s Masterpiece never ceases to delight. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is dawning. The rooster is crowing under clear skies. It is 25 degrees this morning and that’s just darn cold. I am grateful for a roof over my head,food on the table and heaters. There are too many without shelter or food. Kindness, love and compassion to all God’s children is needed. But by the grace of God, it could be any of us in the same circumstances. We all have a part in God’s plan. Our lives may not be perfect and we don’t have all the things we want, but there is someone out there wishing they had as much as you. Be grateful, loving and kind. A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I ended up making spaghetti and doing some sewing. My feet are up and I am waiting on the new Hallmark movie. I never saw snow today except for on some of the near by hills. It was pretty. As you gather together tonight,  give an extra hug and thank God for your precious family.  May you dance among the stars with the angels in your dreams. Cozy

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. It is 38 degrees with a light rain falling. It is supposed to be mixed with snow, but I haven’t seen any yet. You can bet that I have been looking. This will be a stay at home kind of day. It is time to make Chilli or your favorite soups. If ya’ll have any good recipes, send them my way. There is something about this time of year that makes you want to curl up on the couch with a cup of tea or coffee and watch the landscape or read a good book. Loved

A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I took a friend into town for her hair appointment. We had lunch and did a little shopping. By the time I got home, it had started to rain. Behind my house was this beautiful rainbow arching over the orchard. It stayed for a long time as I sat and watched out my back door. God’s beautiful creation for me to see and share with you. A long day draws to a close. It was a good day with blue skies. There is definitely something in the air. I sneezed my head off today. Allergy season again. On the way home, I stopped to watch the clouds and sun play across the mountain. It is a peaceful feeling. I am in for the night and binging on a Netflix series called The Travelers. Spread Kindness

Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful cold morning is dawning.  It is 31 degrees and the stars are twinkling overhead.  Each day before we start work, I walk down to the coffee shop. Yesterday there were bouquets of flowers sitting on the outside tables. A woman told me to pick one up. They were free and had a note saying #petalitforward. It was an advertisement that spreads the power of flowers to others. God’s beautiful creation makes people happy. I have been blessed with weekly flowers, so I passed them along to a friend. She smiled almost as much as I did. Spread kindness, love and compassion. It truly will change someone’s heart. Share Your Heart ❤ and Shine Bright. 

Little Things

A long day draws to a close.. It was a good day filled with sweet people and blue skies.The wind has picked up and the temperature has started to drop. This capture was too cut not to share. This van was parked across the street from the office. It reminded me of my children and grandchildren when they were little. They would fly on their bikes like a bat out of hell or so my Mama would say. It made me smile. The little things bring back good memories. Say your prayers and be grateful.
