A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I got a lot of paperwork and catching up done at the office. I stopped at Pearls Place fruit stand on the way home and grabbed me a few apples. I captured the sun as I got home. The power lines looked like a cross in the setting sun and made me smile. God’s beauty surrounds us all. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is waiting to dawn. It is dark until after seven now, so I have my coffee in the early morning darkness. Sounds of the night are different here. There are no frogs croaking or crickets like home. There is silence, except for the rooster. Harvest is still underway for pears and apples. They finished the pears behind the house and I asked if I could pick some up off the ground. They can’t sell anything that has hit the ground. The deer and animals will have a bounty for sure. God will provide. Time is wasting and I must get busy. I am putting a song in my heart and a smile on my face. God has been good to me and I am grateful. A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I cleaned up the house and did laundry. Sunday is the day I cook for the week. A big pot of red beans and rice has been in the crock pot all day. It was yummy for supper. I got up the courage to try out the hot tub outside. I have been worried about getting in it by myself. I did good and I was proud of myself. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is well underway this morning. Have you ever had those nights where you wake up and can’t go back to sleep for several hours? This is what the mountain looks like at 2 am. The peak was shining in the darkness. A lone star, I think Mars, stands close by. It was beautiful. I was able to go back to sleep after a while and slept past the dawn. The scene last night reminds me that God’s is with us and His love shines even in our darkest hours. Stand tall and pray for guidance. The light will shine again. We have been granted a brand new day to follow His plan and do His will. Life is full of good and bad times. Sometimes it is hard. A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I went into town and took the scenic route looking for hay art and fall foliage. I captured these pumpkin on the way into the grocery store. I grew up in the country, but I sure didn’t know pumpkins came in white or yellow. Did you? Up here, I have discovered purple carrots and purple potatoes. God is an amazing creator as well as artist. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. The sun is slowing rising into the sky. The rooster has stopped his crowing and the birds are dancing on and off the feeder. It is 47 degrees and they are picking the fruit in the orchard behind my house. They quietly and steadily go about their work. I would have music going and be dancing to the beat as I worked. The orchard is about twenty feet from my back door. They are respectful of my privacy. It is nice to see people respecting one another. We need more of that in our world today. Each of us are God’s beloved children. We may not all get along, but everyone from the greatest to the least of us deserves kindness and respect. Spread a little sunshine today. A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I went into town and got my car serviced. While I was there, I went to Joann’s fabric, grocery outlet, dollar tree and the goodwill. I found a beautiful, bulky red sweater that will be perfect for lounging around the house. My capture is Bettes diner downtown Hood River. People are starting to decorate for the holiday. There is an amazing spirit of goodwill in the town. God puts us where we are supposed to be to serve His plan. Reach out with kindness to your fellow man. Say your prayers and be grateful.
