Remnants of snow cling to the ground and seem to dance in the lights as they flash off and on. It is a couple of hours before dawn, but sleep eludes me lately. Another work week begins and there is always something to be done. The joy of seeing the familiar faces and catching up with kindred hearts makes the day fly past. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. Fog envelopes the landscape and hides the mountain from view. All is well in my corner of the world. One more day of my weekend to get my laundry done and the household chores. I took a quilting class from a friend yesterday and learned a lot of things that I was doing wrong. We have to learn and grow each day. Sometimes we don’t realize that there are better ways to do the same job. We have to be open to learning and changing our old ways. Let go of old habits that have not served you well. Open your heart to new joy and adventures. Enjoy the journey.

It just doesn’t seem to be melting even with warmer temperatures. I am grateful that God chose to wake me up this morning. I get to spend another day shining His light. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. The rooster is crowing and the security lights flash off and on as the neighbors cats make their daily run. I am cozy under a heated throw that my grandson gave me for Christmas. We all go about our daily routines and sometimes don’t look outside ourselves and see the suffering and pain in those that walk beside us. Brave faces and fake smiles hide abuse, hurt, illness, loss and physical or mental pain. Hearts are breaking as loved ones leave this world. God is with us, but we as His children, need to reach out to one another and give support, a listening ear and a much needed hug. Life is hard for everyone. Be loving God and kind always. I know that the mountain is there beyond my sight. We do not have to see something to believe. I know that God walks beside me, but I can not see Him.
