The mountain is still hidden behind the clouds and the farmers aren’t sure yet what the damage is to the orchards from the unusual late winter. Life throws you curve balls every once in a while. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is dawning.  I traveled from Spring back to Winter yesterday. Chances of snow and cold weather linger in the Pacific Northwest.  The birds are happy to see me this morning.  They cleaned out the feeders over the weekend. My weekend was filled with visiting family, hugs, smelling all the flowers, hugs, sitting in the yard, more hugs and walking barefoot in the grass. There is never enough time to visit so we must make the most of every opportunity we have to share our hearts with those we love. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. I sit in the early morning listening to the sounds of a new day. The birds are singing a joyful song and trucks travel highway 90 in the distance. Sound travels across open fields. Light breaks on the horizon as I think of the suffering that our savior endured on this day for us. It always makes me sad, but blessed that we are loved beyond measure. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is dawning.  Another layer of snow covers my deck. It is usually melted by night time, but gets replaced while I am sleeping.  I put out extra seeds for the birds and they are singing a song of appreciation as they hop along the deck or grace the trees with their presence.  It is a beautiful sight to see, but I am ready for warmer weather. We learn at an early age that life isn’t fair and we can’t always have what we want. We make the most of what we have and give prayers of gratitude for our blessings in life. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day is underway. Remains of a light snow grace my deck. The birds are trying to be heard over the roar of the fans. The quilt expo in Portland was smaller than I thought, but we had a great time check out the new machines, amazing quilts and colorful fabrics. Looking at all the colors just makes me feel happy. Now I understand how my Mama felt when we would spend hours in a fabric store. It is funny how your perspective on life changes with age and time. We can never judge someone for their actions or reactions. God is the only one who can judge another person. Our job is to treat each other with love, compassion, understanding and kindness.
