My day draws to a close. It was a good day. It rained off and on and I stayed inside. Sewing and movies kept me busy. I did venture to the dumpster to take out the trash. A good day draws to a close. I worked half a day and then took a little me time with hair and nails. It was a damp day and the foliage was shining in the trees and on the sidewalk. Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful new day awaits the dawn. There are no stars visible as clouds stripe the sky with shades of gray. It may be a rainbow day. Everyone seems to dreads the winter and the rains up here. It is a misty drizzle most of the time that creates the most amazing rainbows that dance across the mountains, hills and valley. The rain and storms in life teach us to be strong and lean a little more on God’s strength. Have you ever noticed how beautiful the sun shines after a good rain? A good day draws to a close. It was a beautiful day with mild temperatures and happy patients. It is rare to get someone in a bad mood. Most people are friendly and appreciate the help. My capture is just one of the eight pumpkins scattered around the lobby. I think they will be re-homed next week before Halloween. Some of these are pretty big so it will be a challenge. A good day draws to a close. I ended up shopping for fabric, decorations and going to the thrift store. I didn’t get any treasures from the thrift shop, but I did find some lovely fabric and ornaments for Christmas. I figured out where I am putting my tree this year. My feet are up and Hallmark is running. I even have on my Hallmark #1 Fan slippers that my son and his wife gave me for Christmas last year. He does know his Mama. My capture is a beautiful rainbow Doc captured on the way to work a couple of days ago. I was driving and he know that I love rainbows. May God hold you in his loving embrace until the morning light. A good day draws to a close. It was a great day. The morning was spent at the office and then I met a friend for lunch at a Mexican restaurant. I had steak fajitas and they were yummy. We then went to the craft fair/harvest festival. The plants were beautiful and there were two tents containing the booths for mostly jewelry and a few other crafts. I would have preferred a few different type items, but we had a great time. It was my first event to have to show my vaccination card. I am in for the evening and my feet are tired. Another day draws to a close. It was a good day. I got brand new dahlias as big as a saucer. They are called “MY HERO” and live up to their name. They were picked before the frost so they are the last of the season. I am sad to see them go. Friends become family and our lives are enriched by the memories we share. Make beautiful memories. Another day has come and gone. Did I get everything done? Did I tell someone I loved them or give that hug to the person who touched my heart? Another day draws to a close. It was a good day. I checked in with family and got caught up on their lives. It is always good to hear their voices and listen to the laughter that comes with sharing memories. This afternoon I worked on a quilt top. It is a work in progress. There is still sashing and borders that need to be added, but that is another weekends work. My feet are up and a Hallmark movie is running.
